‘COVID Ask Force’: Lung Center launches free online consultation for COVID-19

A free online consultation for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) was launched by the Lung Center of the Philippines (LCP).
Lung Center launched the project dubbed as the ‘Lung Center COVID Ask Force’ which aims to answer queries from people who have concerns about the coronavirus pandemic.
“Layunin po ng aming platform na magbigay ng tamang impormasyon sa kanila para di rin sila mabahala,” Dr. Kim Villanueva told ABS-CBN News.
“Marami po kasing sintomas ang COVID-19 kaya minsan konting ubo lang ay nababahala na ang ating mga kababayan,” the doctor added.
Netizens can ask physicians about information they need to know about the disease and will offer advice to patients through their Facebook page.
All they have to do is register on the Lung Center COVID Ask Force page on Facebook and they can ask through Facebook messenger.

The said project has more than 200 doctors who volunteered to provide answers to queries online while 700 doctors already signed up for the project.
The initiative also lessens the number of people who are going to hospitals, fearing that they contracted the highly contagious disease and lessen the risk of transmission.
The Ask Force is open from Monday to Saturday from 8 AM to 11 AM and 7 PM to 10 PM.
