PH Embassy in Kuwait reunites 253 distressed Filipinos with their families

The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait will soon reunite hundreds of families back in the Philippines as 253 distressed Filipinos from their country will be repatriated.
The repatriation efforts were done through the efforts and assistance of the Kuwaiti government, through the Philippine Embassy and the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Kuwait through a humanitarian flight dated March 25, 2020.
These Filipinos came from the Talha Deportation Center, the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) Expatriate Shelter, and the Embassy Shelter amid the threat of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Kuwait and the subsequent lockdown of the country.
