The Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia has confirmed Sunday four new cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), Saudi Press Agency reported.
The ministry said three of whom are female Saudi nationals who had close contact with previously reported cases, while the other case was a male Saudi national who traveled in Iran via the United Arab Emirates.
All the new cases came from Qatif province according to the health ministry’s statement.
Meanwhile, the ministry assured the public that the cases were currently receiving treatments and under isolation.
The kingdom already imposed a lockdown on Qatif province to prevent the spread of the disease.
