Kuwait has canceled the implementation of the earlier circular they have issued requiring a complete medical examination (PCR) certificate confirming that nationals from 10 countries including the Philippines are free from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation issued Circular No. 26 which states the reason why it was canceled.
“This is due to the inability to apply this examination for technical reasons that are not available in some countries, until alternative procedures are put into place”, the circular read.
On Tuesday, they issued a memorandum circular that prohibits the entry of nationalities from 10 countries that fail to present a medical certificate stating they are COVID-19 – free.
The countries included in the memorandum were the Philippines, India, Bangladesh, Egypt, Syria, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Georgia, and Lebanon.
However, this circular exempts the citizens of the State of Kuwait.
