China confirms second death in SARS-like mystery virus

Authorities in China announced that another person fell prey to the mystery virus.
On Wednesday, local authorities confirmed that a 69-year-old who lives in Wuhan died due to the virus which belongs to the family as the deadly Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), in a report by AlJazeera.
Wuhan officials closed off a seafood market within the area since January 1, which was believed the epicenter of the virus.
The Wuhan health commission discharged 12 people from the hospital after recovering from the virus, while five more individuals are currently in a critical condition and are closely being monitored by authorities.
The health commission was tasked to investigate if there would be a possibility of human-to-human transmission of the virus.
Meanwhile, authorities in Japan and Thailand detected two other cases of the mysterious virus.
