A Kuwaiti man who stumbled upon a bag full of jewellery near a waste bin went straight to the police station and handed it over.
The unnamed man told police that he was walking back home in the capital of Kuwait City at night when he saw the bag.
He said that when he opened it, he found gold jewellery and thought someone might have forgotten the bag in that place.
Newspaper said police took fingerprints from the bag to attempt to identify its owner, adding that they are treating the case as a “lost or stolen bag.”
The report did not specify the exact value of the jewellery, but said it could be worth tens of thousands of dinars (one dinar is $ 3.3)
