The family of four-year-old kid who was found burned appealed for financial assistance for his funeral.
John Andrei Yapit’s body was found burned in a vacant lot in Barangay Silangan, Quezon City.
The family lamented that they were mourning Andrei’s death instead of having Noche Buena with him.
“Sobrang saklap na ‘yung kapag nakita mo ‘yung anak ‘yung itsura ng anak ko hindi alam kung ano sinisigaw niya habang andun siya, kung tinatawag niya pangalan namin ng asawa ko,” Dina Yapit told GMA News.
Yapit was last seen playing with an 11-year-old child with special needs in the said lot.
The Bureau of Fire Protection already launched an investigation regarding the incident.
The child with special needs has been linked to Yapit’s death.
Meanwhile, the mother of the child with special needs appealed to stop judging his son.
