A student at an Indian curriculum school in Umm Al Quwain died after she had suspectedly jumped to her death from their apartment building.
According to a report by Khaleej Times quoting police sources, the girl and her mother were sleeping in the same room when the incident happened.
They believed that she opened the window and jumped out of the sixth floor of the building.
The teenager reported received psychological treatment from a clinic in Sharjah two months ago.
Social worker Ashraf Thamarassery said that the mother, who did not notice that the girl was not in her room, suffered a nervous breakdown after what happened.
This is the second teen reported having committed suicide and died in a span of three days. The other Indian teen fell off the 10th floor of her apartment building in Sharjah.
