Davao City intensified its security measure following the twin blasts that rocked Indanan, Sulu last week.
The city has implemented its ‘no jacket’ policy in the city’s checkpoints.
“Kasi mas madali nating makita ‘yung individuals with suicide vest kung walang jacket,” Task Force Davao Commander Army Colonel Consolito Yecla said.
This means that those who will enter the city will have to take off their jackets to make sure that there is no suicide vest underneath.
Security personnel will be stationed 20 to 50 meters before the inspection areas to check beforehand.
The city also has a no back pack policy after the church bombings in Jolo.
