PH Embassy, Consulate to remove red satin ribbons from authenticated and notarized documents

The Philippine Embassy in the UAE and the Philippine Consulate for Dubai and the Northern Emirates have announced that the physical red satin ribbons used to indicate the authenticated and notarized documents will no longer be there.

In an announcement released at the official Facebook page of the Philippine Embassy in the UAE, as well as the official website of the Philippine Consulate for Dubai and the Northern Emirates, all authenticated and/or notarized documents will still have the gold round seal with the Embassy dry seal at the front page.

The documents will also be bound by an eyelet.

The embassy and the consulate both announced that the change of the appearance of all authenticated and/or notarized posts will soon be implemented across all Philippine Foreign Service posts.

Both of the Philippine foreign posts in the UAE have begun its implementation of the new rule last June 15.
