SSS and PAG-IBIG have announced through their Facebook page that they will be holding a series of onsite caravans for OFWs to avail their service following their successful 1-day onsite service held at Jollibee Al Falah last October 15. They have served 75 clients from 5:45 pm to 8:30 pm.
Lydia Cabagnot, SSS Foreign Representative in Abu Dhabi said: “SSS Abu Dhabi aims to reach out to more OFWs in this area. Thus, we conducted these onsite services for those who will not be able to visit our office at the Philippine Embassy during regular working hours.
“We wanted to encourage them to be an active SSS member while still working abroad as a preparation for their future especially in times of sickness, giving birth and retirement age. We assure them that SSS contributions are safe and secure savings and we provide the best value of their membership,” furthers Cabagnot.
Services that they will offer onsite include:
– Registration for new members: SS number issuance
– Reactivation and record verification for existing members
– Enrollment in Flexi-fund Program
– Member/Pensioner Data Amendment
– Application for benefit claims/loans
– Payment Reference Number (PRN) issuance
– Compliance with Annual Confirmation of Pensioners (ACOP) Program
– Application for Loan Restructuring Program (LRP)
