A wedding in Sharqiya, Egypt ended in misfortune after more than 100 guests suffered from food poisoning.
The police have received a report from the Al-Ahrar hospital stating that 103 patients, including children had eaten contaminated food from the wedding.
The patients had a meal of meat and rice, said Major Ashraf Dheif, head of Zagazig police. They have also collected samples for analysis, reported Al Youm 7.
All guests except one female child have been treated and discharged by the hospital.
The police have already arrested the chef, the groom and his father and will be referred to prosecution after the laboratory identifies the main cause of the poisoning.
