A video of a baby locked inside a heavily tinted car by his Filipino parents has infuriated many netizens.
As seen in a video posted on Facebook by Jasper Pascual on July 8, the young boy cries for help to get out as he knocks on the car windows.
“[P]auwi na ako from Metrowalk and I was parked beside this Toyota Fortuner, nang mapansin ko na may parang umiiyak na bata. Heavily tinted yung car niya so di ko mapansin if may kasama siya or wala,” Pascual said in his post.
The netizen added that before he got in his own car, he decided to check out the vehicle parked next to his and noticed that the boy, approximately two years old, was alone and was crying for help.
What troubled Pascual was the fact that the car’s engine was turned off that could suffocate inside.
Pascual narrated that he asked security guards for help to find the parents of the child. He said that it took some more minutes before they were able to locate them.
Tumatanda kayo ng paurong!” he said.
Two years old pa kaya na bata na pwede ring ibenta?” the netizen explained.
Pascual’s video immediately went viral. After just a few hours of posting, it already gained millions of views and almost 200,000 shares.
