Trust and support: PMA valedictorian advice to long-distance couples

Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class of 2018 valedictorian said “trust and support” are two secrets that will keep the flames alive in long-distance relationships.

Cadet First Class Jaywardene Galilea Hontoria shared that the couple relied on trust in moments where their relationship seemed hard to maintain.

Hontoria’s then girlfriend Loura Fe Dillara also supported the cadet’s dreams to be a part of the military.

The couple admitted that in their 5 years of relationship, they have never celebrated their anniversary since Hontoria was busy with his training inside the PMA.

Hontoria and Dillara dated and became a couple in their college days. Hontoria was in his senior year while Dillara was a sophomore back then.

Right after the graduation rites, Hontoria married Dillara in a church inside PMA.

Hontoria is set to serve the Navy.
