His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, lent a hand to a group of European tourists whose car got stuck in the middle of the desert.
As seen on the photos that went viral online, HH Sheikh Mohammed and his entourage stepped out of their own cars to help the tourists tow their car.
According to reports, HH Sheikh Mohammed also guided the tourists to the main road.
Hanna Karen Arroyo, one of the tourists, posted the photos of the incident on her Twitter account to thank the Ruler of Dubai for towing their car out of the sand.
“My friend and I got stuck on the desert of Dubai and we got rescued by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid,” she said on Twitter.

Hanna and her two friends also took a snap with HH Sheikh Mohammed after their car has been towed.
Helping those who are in need has been practiced by the royal family several times. Last year, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, also helped a truck driver who got caught in the same situation.
