More than P2 million (Dh146,427) worth of suspected crystal meth, locally known as shabu, were seized in two separate raids in Cebu City this weekend.
The authorities confiscated P1.03 million (Dh75,461) worth of shabu from Gloria Dayunot, a 54-year-old food vendor in Barangay Duljo, on Saturday, ABS-CBN reports.
Dayunot denied that she owned the drug pouch.
Chief Insp. Christopher Navida, said the alleged drug dealer has been under the police’s watchlist.
The police also arrested three suspected drug dealers, including 20-year-old Joana Quiloan, in an alleged drug den in Bayanihan Village, Quiot on Sunday.
The police seized P1.065 million (Dh68,025) worth of drugs in the operation that targeted Quiloan’s transactions.
The report said Quiloan distributes shabu in Cebu and Lapu-Lapu cities.
Quiloan admitted she uses drugs, but belied that she is a drug peddler.
