‘People’s champ’ and boxing Senator Manny Pacquiao heads to Los Angeles to continue his training before his upcoming fight with Keith Thurman.
The World Boxing Association welterweight bout is set to happen in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 20.
Pacquiao will train under his long time mentor Freddie Roach at the Wildcard Gym.
Pacquiao’s former promoter Bob Arum said that the boxing champion is at risk of brain damage should this fight with Thurman turns out differently.
Pacquiao will be 41 years-old in December while Thurman is 10 years younger. The younger boxer also enjoys an clean winning slate so far.
