Luis Manzano seeks NBI’s help over Flex Fuel Investment controversy

Television host and actor Luis Manzano has asked for the help of the National Bureau of Investigation or NBI over the controversy surrounding the Flex Fuel Petroleum Corp.

Flex Fuel is part of the ICM Group owned by Ildefonso “Bong” Medel Jr according to an Inquirer report.

In a statement, investors of Flex Fuel are asking Manzano to help recover their investments and money from the company.

Regidor Caringal, Manzano’s lawyer, said that they had sent a letter to the NBI, dated Nov. 8, 2022, saying that the actor had already resigned as board chairman of several companies under the ICM Group.

In a Bilyonaryo report, 100 investors of Flex Fuel failed to recover their almost 1 million peso investment and five of them have already filed complaints to the NBI.

Manzano said that up to now, there are still individuals reaching out to him for help and assistance regarding their investments in Flex Fuel.

“Bong conducted the business in such a way that operational matters were kept away from me,” the actor said.

Manzano’s legal team also added that Medel also owes the actor some P66 million in investment.
