Comelec clarifies overseas ballot without Robredo’s name ‘deliberately edited’

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Monday said the photo of an overseas ballot with the missing name of Vice President Leni Robredo was “deliberately edited.”

The Office for Overseas Voting said that the photo circulating on social media showing an official ballot with the missing name of Robredo has been deliberately edited.

“The OFOV is coordinating closely with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Philippine Embassy in New Zealand to identify the person responsible for editing the photo and for spreading the said photo on social media,” Comelec said.
