Sharjah Police revealed that the hours between 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm has the highest number of daily accidents.
According to the Joint Committee for Minor Accidents Reconstruction in the Emirate of Sharjah, the highest number of accidents recorded so far in one day this year was on September 2.
Some 317 accidents were reported on that day.
Meanwhile, Sharjah Police reported 3,230 minor traffic accidents from August 29 to September 9.
The force said 60 per cent of these traffic mishaps occurred due to a lack of enough distance between vehicles.
