Three more driver licensing services of Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will be diverted from Customer Happiness Centres to smart and electronic platforms.
Among the services to be diverted are applications for renewing driver license, replacement of lost or damaged driver license, and the issuance of experience certificate for drivers.
The Roads and Transport Authority’s (RTA) customer happiness centres will cease offering services beginning mid-June.

These services can be done through the RTA’s website, app and other smart platform.
“Applications for renewing driver license service are now provided through the RTA’s Dubai Drive App, website, self-service kiosks and approved eyesight testing centres,” Sultan Al Marzooqi, Director of Drivers Licensing, Licensing Agency, RTA, said.
“The replacement of lost/damaged driver license service is available at RTA App and website. Applications for drivers’ experience certificates are now open through RTA’s website, Dubai Drive App and self-service kiosks,” he added.

Al Marzooqi said the digitization of these licensing services is part of RTA’s drive to migrate to electronic and smart platforms for offering services compatible with the government’s paperless services strategy.
These efforts are in line with two strategic goals of RTA namely Smart Dubai and People Happiness, which seeks to make Dubai the smartest and happiest city in the world. (RA)
