Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV on Saturday welcomed the news that Dutertes will run for 2022 polls saying Filipinos can show they reject their brand of leadership.
The lawmaker challenged Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte or any member of the Duterte clan should run to see how much Filipinos are dissatisfied with their leadership.

Trillanes said he is confident that Filipinos will reject the daughter-father tandem of Sara Duterte and President Rodrigo Duterte in the 2022 polls citing the voting behavior of the public during critical elections.
Some members of the ruling party PDP-Laban are pushing for the presidential daughter to succeed his father next year.
