LIST: Countries that accept travelers vaccinated with COVID-19 with no need for quarantine as of March 2021

UAE residents who recently got their COVID-19 vaccine jab can now begin to plan their travel for leisure, as several countries around the world has begun to welcome COVID-19 vaccinated individuals to boost their tourism industry.

Here’s the list of countries to check out:

Georgia. A popular tourist destination for Filipinos whenever they need to do a visa run, Georgia first opened their doors back in February 2021. Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that travelers have to present a document showing that they have received two doses of the COVID-19 at the border checkpoints.

Seychelles. Travelers only have to provide proof of vaccination from their health authority along with a negative PCR test to enter this beautiful archipelago, known for its pristine beaches. The country first announced that it would open its borders to COVID-19 vaccinated individuals as early as January 2021.

Estonia. In February 2021, this country announced two categories for visitors who need not undergo their 10-day quarantine measure. First are individuals who have recovered from Covid-19 and no more than six months have passed since they have been declared cured. The other is those who have undergone Covid-19 vaccination and no more than six months have passed since its completion.

Romania. Those who plan to visit Romania need to complete two doses of the vaccine 10 days prior to their arrival. They should also show proof from the medical institution where the jab was injected. Romania currently accepts tourists without the need for quarantine from countries on their ‘yellow list’, which the UAE is currently a part of.

The UAE’s relentless drive to vaccinate its residents has reached a total of 3.7 million people as of March 9, with more than 6.5 million doses administered in the country to date.
