The Department of Interior and Local Government said investigation into the incident involving two barangay officials in Cavite caught having sex during a supposed ZOOM meeting with their constituents and co-council members is underway.
Witnesses sent the photo of the barangay captain and the treasure doing their intimate acts prior to the zoom session.
“This is very unfortunate dahil napanood ng barangay and at the same time nangyari sa barangay hall,” DILG spokesperson Jonathan Malaya told Ted Failion on DZMM Teleradyo.

Malaya said that they have already tapped their regional offices and checked if any violations were made on the code of conduct for public officials.
“Pa-iimbestigahan sa ating regional offices kung ano yung mga posibleng violation dahil ito ay conduct unbecoming of public official,” Malaya added.
Malaya said that public officials should abide by the code of conduct set by the law on how they should behave in public. The DILG official however did not disclose the possibility of an “accident”.
“Hindi pa ino-on ang kanyang cellphone mukhang napindot niya at napindot ang kanyang cellphone and nangyari nga yun. Mukhang aksidente ang nangyari,” he said.

The same incident also happened in a couple in Brazil.
The two were also caught having sex during their zoom council meeting.
Reports posted at Erwin Tulfo’s official Facebook page state that the video was sent by several concerned citizens from Barangay Fatima Dos in Dasmariñas, Cavite, who stated that the video seemed like a ‘live show’ during the barangay’s Zoom meeting. This, according to the sender of the video, meant that many individuals from their barangay watch the act – including children.
“The video shows the captain even trying to cover the camera of his computer, but he was unaware that another camera was focused on them,” as per the video report.
The scandalous video then spread to the barangay residents, who began a petition to remove the barangay chairman from his position.
He and the treasurer had not since reported to their offices.
