Revisit your favorite memories with REBISCO

For many Filipino expats who grew up in the Philippines, one iconic sandwich snack is that cracker filled with flavorful spreads of Chocolate, Butter, Cream, Strawberry, and just recently, Peanut Butter and Fiesta Pastillas – REBISCO’s Cream-Filled Cracker Sandwich has long been part of the childhood days of old, as one of the pioneers of the Philippine snack food industry.

Nowadays, REBISCO is one of the many premium Filipino brands that is exclusively imported Shankar Trading Co (STC) for UAE shelves for many Pinoys and expats from other nationalities to enjoy.

REBISCO in itself has a long history dating back to its humble beginnings from a neighborhood bakeshop in old San Juan, Metro Manila in 1963. Back then, it started out with the company name ‘England Biscuit Factory’ offering then flagship brands like Crema (the first cream sandwich) as well as Sodatine (plain crackers) as their first products offered for the public.

With steady growth, the company moved to Novaliches, Quezon City to a more spacious factory to accommodate their operations. By 1972, the company rebranded into the REBISCO that Filipinos have long recognized for decades.

Apart from the iconic REBISCO Cream-filled cracker sandwich that STC has brought to the UAE, the distribution company has also brought several of REBISCO’s popular products that many Filipinos love including Ding Dong & Happy for nuts and seeds, Fudgee Bar, Cupp Keyk, Doowee Donut for packaged cakes, Rebisco Crackers, Hansel Sandwich for biscuits, Choco Mucho for chocolate and wafers and now the newly launched Creamline for ice cream.

As Shankar Trading Co offers wide linkages to major retail stores in the UAE – Filipino expats will no longer miss their home so much as many of the snacks, food, and flavors of the Philippines are brought to the UAE with REBISCO as well as many other premium Filipino brands readily available at the market at prices that you can surely afford.
