Andi Eigenmann has said she will use up Christmas vlog earnings to rebuild Siargao homes damaged in Typhoon Odette.
Eigenmann’s family is dedicated to making sure “Siargao, their home, stands back up after the devastation brought about by Typhoon Odette” and said that they would be donating their earnings from their Christmas vlogs.

“We are grateful that our family and friends are safe, but most of them have lost their homes and are in need of food, water, among others. We’ll be using our earnings from our coming videos to help slowly rebuild our island home. Siargao has brought so much magic to my life and this will be our way of giving back to our community, to our home,” she wrote on Instagram.
Andi said the videos would consist of Ellie’s 10th birthday until their last days ” on the island before flying to Manila for what they thought would just be a “week-long vacation.”

Earlier, typhoon Odette made landfall in Siargao on Dec. 16, “displacing residents and tourists and causing injury and heavy damage to structures, including the home of Andi and her fiancé Philmar Alipayo.”
