Kapamilya actress Maris Racal says she’s unbothered with netizens commenting on the age gap with her boyfriend OPM icon Rico Blanco.
Racal, 23, confirmed her romantic relationship with the 48-year-old vocalist last May 31.
In a report by ABS-CBN News, Maris said she has a normal relationship with Rico.

“I don’t know, it’s their own opinion naman. Maybe to their world ganun yung age gap or relationship,” Racal said.
“But we’re okay naman with negative comments, hindi kami naba-bother,” she furthered.
Meanwhile, Maris said she was surprised by overwhelming support she has been getting from her fans.
“Yung reaction ng people and yung support nila for us is very overwhelming. It’s something that I really did not expect,” she said.
The actress furthered that her parents are in favor of her relationship with Rico.
“I told my mom about it, she was first on my list. Surprisingly naintindihan niya. Inakala ko maraming magagalit pero kabaligtaran ang nangyari,” she recalled.
She added that her mom was the first to know the real score between her and the singer and composer behind hit OPM songs.
“Wala, inintindi niya lang din and, parang wala, hindi siya big conversation sa family,” she said. (RA)
