'Protect Vico': More celebrities unite to defend Pasig City Mayor

More celebrities were speaking out on the move of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to probe Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto.

The NBI alleges that Sotto could’ve violated the Bayanihan to Heal As One law and the guidelines for the enhanced community quarantine.

Nadine Lustre, in her Instagram story, hit back at the slow government’s response and why they are targeting those who are doing something for the country.

“COVID exposed the government for what it really is. The people need help and compassion (minus Koko) and transparency not threats and lies,” Nadine said.

Karla Estrada also shared her thoughts on the Vico Sotto issue and called for the young mayor’s protection.

Maging makatarungan naman,” Karla said.

“Teka, asan ulit yung human compassion? ? Nalilito na ang feelings ko,” Alessandra De Rossi also said in a tweet.

Pokwang also voiced out her thoughts on the issue.

Actor Jericho Rosales said that focus now should be helping those who are hungry.

“Investigating on certain leaders that are trying to help and make a difference during these trying times. #priorities #maymganagugutompo,” he said.
