Actress Angel Locsin was named Best Drama Actress for her role in the recently concluded television series, “The General’s Daughter”.
She was among the winners of the 33rd Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Television held Sunday night at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater in Ateneo de Manila University.
Locsin, in a post on her Instagram account, thanked the award-giving body for believing in her since day 1.
She also thanked her co-workers and her supporters and fans for supporting their series.
Their show was also named “Best Primetime TV Series”.
Kapamilya actor Arjo Atayde also bagged the “Best Drama Supporting Actor” award.
He especially made mention at the end of his speech Maine Mendoza for being his inspiration.
