The Department of Migrant Workers has opened additional financial assistance slots for overseas Filipino workers in Dubai following strong demand from applicants.
The Migrant Workers Office Dubai said the next batch of applications began on May 1, 2026, with the official link released through its Facebook page.
To qualify, applicants must submit proof of employment and at least one document showing income loss or disruption, such as reduced salary, unpaid leave, or termination.
Officials said applications will be released in four batches, scheduled every Tuesday and Friday over a two-week period, to ensure an orderly process and wider access.
Initial data showed that the first batch filled quickly, highlighting the high demand for assistance among workers affected by the Middle East crisis.
Authorities clarified that OFWs who have already received financial assistance are no longer eligible for the new batch.
