MMDA spokesperson writes complaint vs. ABS-CBN reporter Doris Bigornia

Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Spokesperson and Assistant Secretary Celine Pialago wrote a formal complaint to ABS-CBN News executives against TV reporter Doris Bigornia.

Pialago, who was a former reporter of RPN9, said that Bigornia made rumors and physically assaulted her.

The MMDA spokesperson said that Bigornia hurt her when they saw each other at the Makati City Hall.

“I accidentally bumped into Ms. Bigornia. I apologized to her but instead she struck me and kept shouting at me as if I deliberately did it,” Pialago wrote.

The MMDA spokesperson also recalled some events wherein Bigornia allegedly humiliated her in public.

“During a press conference she shouted to her camera operator, Si GM lang kukunan mo sa frame wag mo isama yang katabi niya’,” Pialoago said.

She also recalled another event when there was a confusion on the number coding scheme.

Top MMDA officials explained the situation to the press when Bigornia allegedly shouted ‘Ano bang pinagsasabi ng spokesperson niyo’.

Pialago also accuses Bigornia of backstabbing and making up stories about her.

“She was backstabbing me, saying my nose is fake, my body is fake, and everything about me is fake and that is totally below the belt,” Pialago added.

There was even an attempt by General Manager Jojo Garcia for them to patch things up but Bigornia said that Pialago doesn’t exist.

When the assistant secretary told Bigornia to leave their premises the reporter allegedly shouted back and said that ‘I know so many things about you’.

Pialago asked ABS-CBN management to replace Bigornia in covering the MMDA beat.
