Miss Pasig City wins Miss Philippines Earth 2019

Pasig city bet Janelle Lazo Tee bagged this year’s Miss Philippines Earth 2019 crown. The 28 year old beauty bested 40 candidates from different parts of the country.

“I could say na totoo na siya Janelle Tee Philippines. Finally I will do my best I will give my honor to best represent our country,” Tee said right after her coronation.

This is her second try to join the Miss Earth pageant. She almost did not make it because of her age but the organizers changed the rules that allowed her to participate again.

“Its not too late to make your dreams come true dati pinakawalan ko na and sabi ko hindi para sa akin to but God has his own way of surprising you and this it,” she said.

The new titleholder said that she will advocate for information disemmination on the hazards of indoor air pollution.

“Here in the Philippines we fail to realize that it directly affects human health and productivity and indoor pollution is even 5 times more polluted than outdoor. We think na safe tayo indoors,” she added.
