Sarah Geronimo remembers ‘Star for a Night’ moment when coaching in ‘The Voice Kids’

Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo couldn’t help but feel like she’s 14 years old again every time she accepts the coaching job for the hit reality singing contest ‘The Voice Kids’.

Geronimo together with broadway star Lea Salonga and rock icon Bamboo Mañalac returns to the show’s fourth season.

“I will always be an aspiring singer kasi ako sabi ko nga parang hindi natatapos yung Sarah Geronimo na 14 years old na sumali sa star for a night sa isang singing competition I will always relate ro that experience,” she told reporters.

The competition this season is expected to be tougher, and Sarah says she will do her best to coach her team.

“I’m happy and very excited for these young talented kids sobrang  excited lang. Pero siyempre yung pressure and yung stress part pa rin siya ng show, part pa rin siya ng sistema mo pero more than that mas excited para sa kanila,” Geronimo added.

Lyca Gairanod was the first The Voice Kids winner in 2014. She was from Team Sarah.

The show is set to premiere next month to replace ‘Idol Philippines’.
