Following the coronation of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach was among the many who were quick to send her congratulatory message to her fellow Filipina.
On Instagram, Wurtzbach posted a photo with Gray to congratulate the latter on her win.
“You started strong and captured our hearts with your grace, commitment, and fearlessness! And that walk…how could anyone forget that walk?” read a portion of Wurtzbach’s caption.
“Now, you’ve conquered the Universe! This is just the beginning. Congratulations, Miss Universe 2018, [Catriona Gray]. You have made us all proud! Raise your flag,” she added.
Gray is the fourth Filipina to win the Miss Universe crown after Gloria Diaz (1969), Margie Moran (1973), and Wurtzbach (2015).
