Kimi Yap, who is known for styling some of the country’s top celebrities, is one of the newest personalities who chose to wear a creation of Dubai-based fashion designer Michael Cinco on her wedding day.
Yap and her longtime partner of 10 years, Jarvis Sy, tied the knot in a glamorous wedding ceremony held at Santuario de San Jose Parish in Mandaluyong City on Saturday, October 13.
Yap walked down the golden aisle wearing a couture wedding gown created by Cinco.
The gown featured a 5-meter long train and intricate designs made with Swarovski crystals, according to the Dubai-based designer.
The wedding was a star-studded event attended by some of the biggest names in the Philippine entertainment industry.
Actresses Kathryn Bernardo and Erich Gonzales, who are also Yap’s top clients, were two of the bridesmaids. Kris Aquino was the principal sponsor, while Scarlet Snow Belo was one of the flower girls.
Other stars who attended the event included Alex Gonzaga, Julia Barretto, Jeron Teng, Kaye Abad, and Paul Jake Castillo.
A luxurious wedding reception followed at the Marriott Grand Ballroom. a 12-foot-tall wedding cake, floral designs, and a center stage were all part of the said reception.
