Teen star Mika dela Cruz reveals future plans in politics

Kapuso teen actress Mika dela Cruz might still be young but she already has big future plans.

The 19-year-old actress said that she is already planning to become a public official in the future, just like her sister, actress Angelika dela Cruz, who is currently on her third term as a barangay captain in Longos, Malabon City.

In an interview with PEP.ph, dela Cruz admitted that she would like to run for public office someday but said that she would like to study Law first.

Aside from her sister Angelika, the young actress was referring to her father Ernie dela Cruz and her brother Edward.

Dela Cruz clarified that her family is not forcing her into entering politics and that it is something that she would do willingly.

So, kung sakali, ako yung kauna-unahang mag-aaral ng Law sa amin,” she said.

Dela Cruz also said that, even with the current government issues, she would still like to enter politics.

She added that her family has received death threats and that their house has been ambushed before. But despite having their lives placed in jeopardy, nothing will stop dela Cruz from serving the public.

Dela Crus is currently a Grade 12 student under an online learning curriculum and said that she will transfer to a regular school if she will start her pre-Law course.
