More than 600 of the biggest and brightest names in the Philippines entertainment industry gathered at the highly anticipated ABS-CBN Ball which was held last night, September 29, at the Rizal Ballroom of Makati Shangri-La.

Some of the celebrities who attended the said event took the opportunity to wear the jaw-dropping fashion pieces of some UAE-based designers like Michael Cinco, Furne One, and Harvey Cenit.

Maja Salvador

Maja Salvador dons a beautiful white gown designed by 2016 TFT Rizal Awardee Ezra Santos.

Barbie Imperial

“Araw Gabi” actress Barbie Imperial was one of the female celebrities who made heads turn during the ABS-CBN Ball in her Harvey Cenit gown.

Imperial wore a nude-colored beaded dress that hugged her body perfectly. The dress designed by the UAE -based designer featured an asymmetrical neckline and thigh-high slit.

Kim Chiu

Known for wearing some of the most iconic looks during the previous Star Magic Balls, Chiu opted to wear a Michael Cinco gown for this year’s event.

Chiu definitely slayed in a black ball gown embellished with Swarovski crystals and adorned with hand-painted butterflies all over the skirt.

While donning Cinco’s creation, Chiu also got included in Metro Magazine’s best-dressed list.

James Reid

Another celebrity who wore a Michael Cinco creation at the ABS-CBN Ball was James Reid.

The UAE-based designer previously shared on his Instagram account that he flew all the way to Manila to meet with Reid and take his measurements for the outfit that he will design for the actor to wear during the grand Kapamilya event.

The outfit that Cinco created for Reid is a modern take on the classic suit which featured white studs and leather details.

Maymay Entrata

Maymay Entrata was one of the celebrities who won an award during the program of the ABS-CBN Ball. But before she received the “Belo Beautiful Star Award”, she strutted down the red carpet wearing a gown created by Furne One.

Entrata wore a light pink serpentine gown with a long train. The gown features feather details, as well as intricate beading and embroidery.

Vice Ganda

Comedian Vice Ganda stepped on the red carpet wearing an outfit that got some netizens talking with some of them saying it was a bit “controversial”.

Nevertheless, it seems like Vice Ganda took some inspiration from the theme of the MET Gala 2018 and wore a black Michael Cinco gown with a sweeping cape with hand-painted stained-glass-inspired details and colored Swarovski crystals.

A similar outfit was once worn by international superstar Jennifer Lopez.

Dawn Chang

Dawn Chang wore a stylized neckline that ends up as a waistline-revealing cut-out. The gown was designed by 2017 TFT Fashion Designer of the Year Aldwin Jlo Guardiana.
