Skarne is the daughter of actor Gabby Concepcion with former actress Jenny Syquia.

Prior to competing in Miss Universe Sweden, she was already crowned Miss Earth Sweden and she went on to compete in the Miss Earth 2016 pageant held in Manila, wherein she finished as a Top 8 finalist.

The Miss Universe Sweden title went to 22-year-old model and actress Emma Strandbergh which will qualify her to compete in the upcoming Miss Universe pageant in Bangkok, Thailand later this year.

Strandbergh is not new to the beauty pageant scene as she has already competed in the Miss World 2016 pageant which was held in Washington DC.

During the Miss World 2016 pageant, she competed alongside Catriona Gray who will also be competing in the Miss Universe pageant as the Philippines’ representative.

The Swedish beauty queen even became friends with Gray and they even got together when the former visited the Philippine in April 2018.

Strandbergh also left a message to Gray when she was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2018 earlier this year.

“Oh my God Cat! You did it! Can’t believe you’re going to represent your beautiful country in Miss Universe 2018! First [Miss] World and now [Miss] Universe! I’m so proud of you! Big, big congrats to your coming journey and your phenomenal success, can’t wait to celebrate [with] you!” Strandbergh’s message read.

After two years of competing together in Miss World, Gray and Strandbergh will come together once again and try their luck at the highly anticipated Miss Universe pageant.
