The Santacruzan is an annual celebration in the Philippines which usually takes place during the last day of May. This event is celebrated to honor the search for the True Cross by Helena of Constantinople and Constantine the Great.

During this time of year, young ladies participate in the annual parade to commemorate the significant event for Catholics..

Even celebrities take part in the said event, all dreaming of walking around their hometowns while holding the cross of Reyna Elena.

Here are some of the young celebrities who participated in this year’s Santacruzan.

No, you are not looking at a new Binibining Pilipinas beauty queen. That is Angelina Cruz, daughter of Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano, who looked regal when she joined a Santacruzan parade in Orion, Bataan.

Angelina attended a two-day Santacruzan and on the first day, she donned a white beaded gown paired with a tiara.

Her mom, Sunshine, gushed at how exquisite her daughter looked.

Kyline Alcantara is impressing everyone with her kontrabida role in Kambal Karibal. And on the night she joined a Santacruzan parade in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan as Reyna Elena, she definitely made jaws drop.
