Miss Universe Canada Marta Magdalena Stepien made jaws drop during the evening gown competition of the recently concluded Miss Universe 2018 beauty pageant wherein she wore one of the creations of Dubai-based Filipino couturier Michael Cinco.
It can be recalled that Stepien flew all the way to Dubai to visit Cinco’s boutique back in November and she ended up choosing a nude colored fully crystallized gown.
Stepien first wore the gown during the preliminary competition which was held on December 13.
During the evening gown competition, Stepien added a sweeping train for a dramatic effect and she absolutely looked regal while walking down the runway.
Stepien, however, was not able to make the cut after the long gown competition and finished as a Top 10 finalist.
The Philippines’ bet Catriona Gray, on the other hand, also stunned in her Mak Tumang Mayon-inspired gown during the long gown competition. She was eventually hailed as the winner giving the Philippines its fourth Miss Universe crown.
