Vico Sotto, the son of veteran celebrities Vic Sotto and Coney Reyes, took to social media to share the news that he has finished his Master’s degree with flying colors.
Vico took his Master in Public Management at the Ateneo School of Government in Quezon City and even earned a silver medal after finishing his Master’s degree.
Through an Instagram post, Vico shared some photos of him and his mother while she was placing his hard-earned medal around his neck.
“Mama placing my Silver Medal around my neck. Now a Master in Public Management,” he captioned the photo.
Through a Twitter post, he also expressed his disbelief in finishing his Master’s degree.
“If you told me when i was in high school or college that in the future I would finish a Master’s degree with honors, I probably would have laughed!” he said.
“I never did great in school and would just study the topics I liked. But I guess it’s different when there’s a sense of purpose!” he added.

Just like any proud mother, Coney also posted some photos on her Instagram account and congratulated her son.
“Thank you, Lord! I’m a proud Mama! Congratulations, son! Silver Medalist Master in Public Management,” she wrote on Instagram.
During the filing of Certificate of Candidacy last month, Vico decided to run for mayor of Pasig City in the coming 2019 midterm elections.
