Actress Maja Salvador has broken her silence on the “third party” issue involving her, and former couple Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino.
It can be recalled that Panganiban revealed in a “Gandang Gabi Vice” episode that she and Aquino decided to call their six-year relationship quits because of another woman.
Panganiban disclosed on the said show that the reason behind their break up was a girl who currently has no airing shows, appears weekly on ASAP, and has a name that starts with M.
But in an episode of ABS-CBN’s morning talk show aired on October 17, Salvador decided to settle the issue since she has been receiving harsh comments from fans of the former couple.
“Sige, ito na siguro ang pagkakataon… Yung GGV, may lumabas na GGV, okay, may mga nag-agree at disagree, may mga nangbabash sa akin may nangbabash kay Angelica,” Salvador said.
“Pero sabihin na natin na nagamit yung term na third party,” she added.
Salvador strongly denied that she was the third party to Panganiban and Aquino’s relationship since they were no longer together when Aquino decided to court her.
She added that Aquino also tried to pursue other girls before her.
“Ang di lang na-klaro kasi siguro, kaibigan ko kasi si Angelica, hindi na nag-banggit ng ibang babae, ako nalang kasi alam naman niyang hindi ako ma-isyung tao. Tapos ayoko kasi yung kaibigan ko bina-bash si Angelica na parang, ‘Ba’t kasi third party yung gamit?” she said.
Salvador said that Panganiban must’ve used the wrong term during the interview because she got carried away in the moment.
“Diba minsan sa mga intevriews kadalasan minsan yung dire-direcho ka, yung di mo na na-aayos yung sentence mo, diba, pero yun yun. Hindi po ako third party,” she said.
