Actor John Lloyd Cruz indirectly confirmed the rumors that have been revolving around him and girlfriend Ellen Adarna through an Instagram post on October 1.
Prior to Cruz’s Instagram post, he was spotted at a beach with Adarna with a baby which many speculated was their own child.
Earlier today, Cruz took to social media to post a photo of a handwritten poem which he composed titled “Mga Ibon”.
The said poem was dedicated to someone named “Elias”.
Entertainment websites previously reported that that Adarna and Cruz named their son Elias Modesto, which they took after the actress’ father, Alan Modesto, who passed away due to cardiac arrest.
In the said poem, Cruz conveyed the happiness that he has felt in his life after becoming a father.
The poem reads:
Mangmang pagdating sa’yo
Sa iisang tunog mong taglay
Sa kaaya-ayang sorpresa ng paglapit mo
Sa imahe ng kalayaan na tiyak iwinawaksi mo
Sa perpektong hubog ng iyong galaw

It has been almost a year since Cruz and Adarna took an indefinite leave from show business following the rumors that the latter got pregnant.
Since then, the two have kept a low-profile relationship while avoiding the public eye.
They also did not attend the recently concluded ABS-CBN Ball despite being two of the biggest names in the Kapamilya network.
This is the first time that Cruz has shared anything about their son as he and Adarna have remained mum about the details of their relationship, their child, and their showbiz careers.
