After it has been confirmed that Ellen Adarna and John Lloyd Cruz are now parents to a baby boy, fans of the celebrity couple are eager to know the details about their newly-born child.
Earlier this month, Atty. Rebo Saguisag, legal counsel of Adarna, confirmed that the actress has already given birth. He made the announcement during the proceedings of the child abuse and cybercrime complaints filed against the actress.
A week after the confirmation, entertainment reporter MJ Marfori revealed that Adarna and Cruz named their son Elias Modesto.
She said the couple took their baby’s name after Adarna’s father, Alan Modesto, who recently passed away due to cardiac arrest.
The couple are still mum about the birth of their child, but the former lambasted a news website for posting a story which claimed that his girlfriend gave birth at Chong Hua Hospital in Cebu and that their son was immediately baptized. Cruz tagged the story as “fake news”.
A few days after the day Adarna gave birth, Cruz was also spotted at a local shopping mall in Cebu buying some baby items.
