It seems that actress Jackie Forster and her sons, Andre and Kobe Paras, were finally able to bury the hatchet after nearly 12 years.
“God is so good! I told you all, prayers work,” Forster posted on her Instagram with a photo of her and her two sons.
“When you have little pieces of you walking around on earth, all you can do that makes the biggest difference is to pray for them. When your heart beats in tune with your prayer, their homing device will activate, eventually they come home,” she posted.
Forster said that her reunion with her children is all that matters to her right now, and that she is proud of and thankful for her two sons.
“I ask for everyone to please respect their privacy now, we have shared so much of our personal lives with everyone and we want to take this time to heal and bond. No more bashing please. We lift you all up in prayers and speak blessing upon you all.
“The boys and I do not want to dwell on the past. We will not speak on behalf of people outside of our relationship. That’s not our place. On behalf of my two sons I want to thank those of you who prayed for us and with us!” she added.
In an interview with PEP, Forster narrated that she and her sons have been talking since the start of the year.
She has even flown to Los Angeles to meet with Kobe when he was busy with his studies and basketball there.
Forster admitted in the interview that she was nervous about meeting her sons since she has not seen them in years.
The former actress also said that she would want to move on in peace after making amends with Andre and Kobe.
Benjie Paras and Jackie Forster got married in 1994 but separated in 2001. Their marriage was officially annulled in 2003, wherein Benjie was granted the full custody of Andre and Kobe.
