Gerald Anderson posts hilarious message from his mom every OFW can relate to

Gerald Anderson being family-oriented is just one of the many things the public likes about him, and the 29-year-old actor just proved this through a recent Instagram post.

Anderson shared on Instagram a text conversation between him and his mother after he forgot to send money to the latter.

“Hindi ako nakapag-padala ng pera sa mama ko today, ito text niya sa akin,” Anderson wrote with the hashtags #alwaysgivewhatyourmamaneeds #burn #myperfectyou #mothercare #family.

In the said photo, it can be seen that Anderson’s mother is repeatedly asking her son if she can already go to the bank. But Anderson asked his mother to wait for a moment because he has not sent the money yet.

Their conversation went from serious to funny when his mother started calling him by his character’s name in his movie “My Perfect You” and said, “Hoy Burn, your movie is making money na. Okay, Burn, tomorrow ha? Promise.”

Anderson’s mother was referring to his son’s movie with Pia Wurtzbach which was directed by top-billed director Cathy Garcia-Molina.

Due to the movie’s box-office success, the movie has now earned more than P100 million (more than Dh7 million). Pia and Gerald broke out the incredible news on their respective social media accounts thanking everyone who watched their film.
