Jake Zyrus, formerly known as Charice Pempengco, revealed he has underwent female to male chest reconstruction surgery or “top surgery” on March 29.
Jake told TV5 in an interview that he is also taking testosterone booster to aid in the growing of mustache and deepening of his voice.
When asked if the surgery was painful, the 25-year-old international singing sensation said he was happy with the result of his transformation.
“I’m so happy kasi sobrang—hindi naman sa ano—pero maganda. I know hindi pa ako nagpapa-sex transplant, pero I feel complete,” Jake said.
According to Jake, he is not in a hurry of fully becoming a transgender man. However, he is considering to undergo sex-reassignment surgery or sex change.
Pempengco officially changed his name on his social media accounts on June 15.
