9-year-old kid collects stamps of 189 countries in 7 days at Expo 2020 Dubai

A nine-year-old Abu Dhabi boy has collected the stamps of 189 countries during his visit to the Dubai Expo in seven days.

Mohammed Maazul Haque, 9, a 3rd grader at Global Indian International School, who originally hails from India and is a resident of Abu Dhabi, along with his father Mohd Fareedul Haque managed to collect stamps from 189 countries in just 7 visits.

On his first day, Haque collected stamps from six countries and the Terra pavilion and in his second visit (October 8) he got nine stamps.

On his third visit (October 9), the father-son duo got 23 stamps and before their fourth visit (October 14), they collected over 40 stamps and by the end of seventh they collected stamps from 189 countries.

The countries that remained (Eritrea and Micronesia) were out of stamps despite Haque’s repeated visits while the Libya pavilion remains under construction. (AW)
