Alice Dixson to reveal her side of story on 30-year-old ‘taong ahas’ urban legend

Alice Dixson said that she will reveal her side of the story about the “taonga has” urban legend that first haunted the country 30 years ago.

In her Instagram, the actress posted a teaser video of herself revisiting Robinson’s Galleria, the mall, where it supposedly happened. She added that she will reveal all the details of what really happened as a promise to a friend and because the 30th anniversary of the urban legend is nearing.

“Mahal kong kababayans … hindi ko gustong buhayin ang chismis; that is the farthest from my intention,” she said. “So, kukwento ko po sa inyo lahat ng detalye ng naganap nung araw na ‘yun,”

“Yes, [three] decades na! And I’ve never said a word or explained my side. Kaya if you are one of the many na gusto nyo malaman ang totoo, panoorin nyo etong [kwento] ko sa [aking] YouTube channel very soon,” she added.

The said urban legend has become famous in the late 80s, with various versions being circulated for generations. In one version, it said that Dixson was trying on clothes at one of the mall’s fitting room when the floor opened up, leading her to the said monster. The actress was said to have escaped and was only paid off the owners to stay mum on the monster.

Another version includes the snake man being one of the mall owner’s kids, and is said to be the one bringing good fortune to the family.
