A surgeon who allegedly performed a botched nose surgery on Emirati Rowdha Al Mouaini had his licence revoked by Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
Health authorities said three medical practitioners: a surgeon, an anaesthetist and an assistant were accused of negligence over the failed nose surgery that happened last April.
Khaleej Times repirted that a 25 -year-old woman went to the center for a rhinoplasty but later on suffered a cardiac arrest.
Reports said the woman’s brain was drained of oxygen for seven minutes. The DHA Higher Commission for Medical Responsibility submitted their report to the authorities was suspended.
Authorities closed the center indefinitely.
